Job Description:

Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer 4

 

The Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer leads analysis of customer and system requirements and development of architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products. Leads development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications. Leads reviews of testing and analysis activity to assure compliance to requirements. Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements. Leads activities in support of Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services. The Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer coordinates engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product. Plans research projects to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements. Works under minimal direction. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.

 

The Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer role is 1st shift and will be Remote.




Job Requirements:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

 

Required Experience:
1. IO Timing Analysis
2. Signal Integrity
3. Experience with Timing Constraints and Timing Diagrams
4. Experience with Siemens HyperLynx

 

Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment - OTJ or formal classroom training.
