Job Description:

Manufacturing Planner 4

 

The Manufacturing Planner plans and leads department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives. Supports mechanics to provide clarification related to planning and the applicable engineering drawings and specifications.
Prepares build analyses and cost estimate reports. Leads integration of complex suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Participates in source selection to ensure manufacturing requirements are met. Develops complex tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Manages tooling from initial design to end of use disposition. Leads investigation and resolution of complex or systemic manufacturing related issues. Leads teams performing producibility assessments of design concepts. Supports enterprise level benchmarking to incorporate best practices. Leads development of complex work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Develops scheduling templates for use by others. The Manufacturing Planner drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements. Develops and documents new job practices, techniques and standards. Works under minimal direction. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role

 

Shifts: 2nd shift, All submitted Manufacturing Planner candidates should be available to work variable shifts based on business need, 1st and 2nd.
100% Onsite. Candidates must be local or willing to re-locate prior to start at own expense.
Length of Assignment: 6 months possible extension based on business needs.

Job Requirements:

AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Previous Aerospace Planner Experience
• 10+years of Manufacturing Planner experience
• 10+ years of experience of CAD Software
• Analyze & Interpret Engr Data, read 2d and 3d drawing and specs,
• Manufacturing Engineering processes
• Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft
• This position will require the ability to obtain customer approval for access. Dual citizenship or prior citizenship of any other country may preclude ability to obtain access. A 3rd party background check relating to personal and business finances, residences, employment history, past drug use, prior military service, and criminal behavior will be conducted.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
• Gold ESP & MESCI experience

 

Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training.
