MP&P Technical Analyst 2

 

Our Research and Technology division is seeking a Mid-Level Composite Technician (Level 2) to join our team in Tukwila, Washington.

MP&P Technical Analyst Position Responsibilities:
Evaluates parts, materials, processes, technology or equipment through research and testing to ensure safety, reliability and adherence to requirements and specifications.
Analyzes failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures.
Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause and documents results and recommendations.
Proposes, develops and validates revisions to procedures and specifications.
Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes.
Determines suitability of parts, materials and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers.
Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating and implementing new concepts and technology.
Provides knowledge and technical consultation to internal and external customers.

 

Shifts: 1st
The MP&P Technical Analyst role is 100% onsite.
Start Time: 7:00 am 5 am to 7 am, flexible.
Okay with out-of-state candidates - must relocate at own expense.
Duration: 6 months, possible extension.

Job Requirements:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• 2+ years of experience as a mechanic or technician
• Good work ethic, high mechanical aptatude and knowledge of composite materials

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• Experience working in a laboratory environment
• Hand layup experience
• Composite and metal bonding experience
• AFP equipment operation experience
• NC programming experience
• VCP programming experience
• Robot, gantry, lathe and mill operation experience
• CAMS experience
• Assembly experience
• Structural test experience
