Supply Chain Specialist 1

 

Seeking an Entry Level Supply Chain Specialist for our Oklahoma City, OK Warehouse Distribution facility. The Supply Chain Specialist will be an integral member of the GWL Warehouse Management team. Provides and analyzes postproduction spare/repair data to manage program items throughout the supply chain process. Analyzes material location and initiates redirect actions as necessary working with their Asset management counterpart. Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system. Reviews applicability of warranties to allocate costs. Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies. Identifies supply chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues. Work to ensure non-conforming material is reconciled in a timely manner. Leads and works various projects to improve processes and flow of material. The Supply Chain Specialist participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supply chain strategies.

Supply Chain Specialist Position Responsibilities:
Research/Resolve program grief
Monitor/support unserviceable returns and receipts
Provide monthly summaries on program top drivers
Provide order status updates to internal & external customers
Work with 3PL to advise and improve their processes and services to meet customer’s needs.
Generate/track Lost, Damaged, Destructed, Theft (LDDT) forms.
Assist 3PL in inventory research, as needed.

 

Shifts: 1st shift; 7AM-4PM
The Supply Chain Specialist role is 100% onsite

Job Requirements:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
1+ year experience in Supply Chain Management
Ability to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
Experience in Supply Chain aircraft repairs
GOLD, GOLD esp, WOW, ARES, BESSY experience is a plus
4+ years’ experience with Supply Chain Management practices and processes
Typical Education/Experience:

Physical demands (if any): lifting up to 30 pounds

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

 

Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training.

 

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
