Maintenance Mechanical Millwright – Starting pay $31/hr & goes up based on exp (shift work required) 

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor with the responsibility for performing mechanical maintenance on plant equipment at Showa Denko Carbon electrode manufacturing facility.   

The MMTs perform maintenance tasks and related work orders to initiate notifications to correct equipment deficiencies, Initiate work requests and/or purchase requisitions as needed to maintain needed tools and equipment and assist Maintenance Planning Department with determining preventive maintenance requirements for new equipment and with updating procedures for existing equipment.  Apply here

Production Operator – Starting pay $21.27/hr (shift work required) 

The Production Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a variety of heavy machinery in the assigned production process area to produce quantity and quality electrodes and support the production plan at Showa Denko Carbon electrode manufacturing facility. 

Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, CNC machining, overhead crane operation, and forklift experience is preferred but we are also looking for candidates who have a strong desire to learn and grow with the company if you haven’t worked in industry previously.  Apply here

Health Safety and Environmental Specialist 

The HSE Specialist will be the Health & Safety expert for the implementation, maintenance, coordination & monitoring of HS Management Systems and will report directly to the Local HSE Manager.  

This role will participate in development and maintenance, statutory compliance, and industrial good practice in health and safety, including procedures, processes, and training to promote safe working practices and to protect the company’s interest. The primary goal of the HSE Specialist is to support activities to raise the safety awareness of all the organizations departments to a higher level and follows the company’s key strategies.

Customer Service Representative 

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be responsible for managing and administering orders on a day-to-day basis. The CSR is a crucial position that interfaces with production and supply chain to ensure orders become shipments, while working closely with Global Sales and Marketing to ensure customer requirements and requests are met in a timely manner. Attention to detail is critical. The position is best suited for an energetic, highly motivated individual who has demonstrated the ability to succeed in a dynamic work environment.

Warehouse Kitter 

In this role, you would be responsible for working with production and supply chain management to ensure parts are in stock and prepped to distribute throughout the site for manufacturing processes. This includes receiving/stocking, performing inventory control duties, kitting, and delivery of parts. Your customers are your colleagues at the plant so we are seeking individuals with the ability to work in a team environment and interested in being part of a successful group effort towards completion of projects. 

This is a Monday-Friday, first shift schedule. Some work may be done outdoors, exposed to environmental conditions. Apply here


Mechanical Engineer

The position includes management of plant capital and maintenance projects – from specification and design to installation; equipment modification for reliability improvement; equipment rebuilds; and technical liaison with plant Maintenance Department.

Process Engineer 

The Process Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain effective process and quality control methods in order to meet customer requirements with a focus on efficiency, environment, and precision.  

Duties may include but are not limited to: Monitoring production processes for safety, quality, productivity, and cost and identify areas for improvement, developing and maintaining quality and corrective action plans (perform root cause analysis), helping to build and maintain a strong culture of safety and implementing safety processes to promote zero accident safety program goals.
